Last night I went to the art show/sale of one old and one new friend – Jeri Warlick and Julie Holt. Julie is doing something that appeals to me quite a bit – doing a painting a day. A very Stephen King-esque approach to painting. And she documents it on her blog here – julieholt.blogspot.com. I’ve decided that it’s something I need to do as well, so here’s the sincerest form of flattery, Julie! 🙂 I’ve pulled out and dusted off the watercolors – again. I will try to do (or finish) a piece a day. Of course, the majority will be nudes, but I will intersperse with other subjects. Anyone with suggestions for subjects will be listened to.
