On May 25, 2014 I went to Dyer’s on Beale with Amanda and Jeff, before we went to the Eddie Izzard concert at the Orpheum. The view from where we sat was so interesting and colorful I had to take a couple of iPhone photos and on 1/10/15 I started a watercolor on a 25.75×40″ (elephant) sheet of watercolor paper. Calling it finished 2/9/15, almost exactly a month later, cropped to 25×36″. The second part of the title is due to the tradition of Dyers to never change the cooking grease since 1912.
Good Food/Legacy Grease – 25″ x 36″ watercolor. Available for sale $3500.00.
